The TRICARE Open Season is almost here. Do you have questions about your health plan options? Not sure if you need to take action? Here’s your chance to plan ahead and get your questions answered. Join TRICARE on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 3 p.m. ET. The live Q&A session is on the TRICARE Facebook page.
“The TRICARE Open Season is the annual period when you can enroll in or change your health plan coverage for the next year,” as stated in the TRICARE Plans Overview. It applies to anyone enrolled in or eligible for a TRICARE Prime option, including the US Family Health Plan, or TRICARE Select.
You can also expect to learn more about the Federal Benefits Open Season and how to address your dental and vision coverage needs through the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.
The Federal Benefits Open Season is separate from the TRICARE Open Season. However, both give you the option to either enroll, make changes, or stay in your current plan. Both open seasons begin Monday, Nov. 9 and end Monday, Dec. 14. Enrollment choices you make during this period take effect on Jan. 1, 2021.
You don’t need to register for this event. To attend, all you have to do is visit the TRICARE Facebook page to post your question. Once you join, remember to follow the rules of engagement:
