JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas — Earlier this year, President Joe Biden signed an executive order making it possible for transgender service members to openly serve in the military, which further strengthened the Transgender Health Medical Evaluation Unit at the 59th Medical Wing.

Goodfellow's SASH Program Leads the Way (with captions)
With the recent addition of Navy students, Goodfellow’s Students Against Sexual Assault and Harassment program, also known as ‘Teal Ropes,’ became the first in the DoD to have joint service participation! SASH is an Air Education and Training Command program that is being considered by other services within their respective training commands.

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. — According to the National Center for PTSD-Department of Veterans Affairs, PTSD is a mental health issue that one may develop after witnessing or experiencing a life-threatening event such as a natural disaster, combat, sexual assault, or car accident. They also specify that anyone can develop PTSD and at any time in their life after a traumatic event.
